Ore-Lou has found a new passion and that is to learn a new language - Hindi.
Ore says: 'I have wasted so many years watching Bollywood films and following the subtitles instead of actually trying to understand the dialogue, but as they say: "Better late than never". I was afraid of taking on such a huge challenge but then realised that I need to practise what I preach and step out of my comfort zone.'
Ore-Lou has had an interest in the Asian culture for almost 30 years. Her mother raised her on Bollywood films and she is raising her 2 daughetrs on Bollywood films. Why? you may ask. The answer is simple - the values. Respect (both for self and others) is very important and this is always portrayed very strongly as well as virtue.
"How can I really grow and develop from exposing myself to this beautiful culture?" Ore asks. The answer is obvious and that is to learn the language.
A New Challenge!
